All these and more

You’ve been told a lot of beautiful things, but they underplayed the “ugly” intertwined with the beauty.

They failed to remind you of the bad and gory details. They failed to mention how he became an outcast, a criminal, an outlaw.
They failed to mention how he was termed crazy and mad. Nobody said anything about how he was suspected to have schizophrenia.
Suicidal ideation they claimed he had occasionally. Some went on to admit that he was possessed. Only one who had demons dining within would have to act like he did.
Deceit they claimed ran through his veins, he was left vulnerable to their attacks. A deceiver had to be dealt with after all.
They said he was a sinner, worse they even treated him less than a robber. They made public ridicule and caricature of him, it was good riddance to bad rubbish.
It was not stand up comedy, but they jeered at him as he stood or rather was left to hang helplessly.
The only begotten of the Father became all these and more just for you. Yet, you choose to gloat in your unbelief. You claim and act to be uninterested in Him and all He represents. But despite all he’s been called, despite how you’ve been, he’s still very much interested in you.
Yes, I’ll remind you of the ugly he was called and the gory way in which he was treated.

Jn4:44 For Jesus himself testified, that a prophet hath no honour in his own country.

Jn18:12 Then the band and the captain and officers of the Jews took Jesus, and bound him.

Jn5:16 And therefore did the Jews  persecute Jesus, and sought to slay him, because he  had done these things on the sabbath day.

Jn6:52 The Jews therefore strove among themselves, saying, How can this man give us his flesh to eat?

Jn6:60 Many therefore of his disciples, when they had heard this, said, This is an hard saying; who  can hear it?

Jn7:1 After these things Jesus walked in Galilee: for he would not walk in Jewry, because the Jews sought to kill him.

Jn8:59 Then took they up stones to cast at him: but Jesus hid himself, and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by.

Jn7:12 And there was much murmuring among the  people concerning him: for some said, He is a good man: others said, Nay; but he deceiveth the people.

Jn7:20 The people answered and said, Thou hast a devil: who goeth about to kill thee?

Jn8:52 Then said the Jews unto him, Now we know that thou hast a devil…

Jn8:22 Then said the Jews, Will he kill himself?…

Jn9:16 Therefore said some of the Pharisees, This man is not of God, because he keepeth not the sabbath day…

Jn10:20 And many of them said,  He hath a devil, and is mad; why hear ye him?

Jn18:40 Then cried they all again, saying, Not this man, but Barabbas.  Now Barabbas was a robber.

Matt26:67 Then did they spit in his face, and buffeted him; and others  smote him with the palms of their hands,

Matt27:49 The rest said, Let be, let  us see whether Elias will come to save him.
He was called all that. Just for you. Just for you.
You’re wondering, “what shall I do?”
It’s super simple, just believe!
Believe in Him. Believe in Jesus.
Jn6:29 Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God,  that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.
NEVER FORGET… He became all these and more just for you.
